The TriComp technology can already be found in Vredestein's road bike tyres, but Vredestein has transferred this technology to the gravel segment with the Aventura. The Aventura has different rubber compounds on the tread and shoulder of the tyre. The tread has a harder compound for low rolling resistance, while the shoulder studs have a soft rubber compound. This gives you more grip in the corners. So, thanks to the TriComp technology, the Vredestein Aventura is a real all-rounder.
Tubeless Ready
The Vredestein Aventura is suitable for tubeless use, although the tyre can also be used with an inner tube. The Aventura also features the Sportex Protection Layer (SPL) anti-puncture system. This greatly reduces the risk of punctures, especially in combination with tubeless. In addition, with a tubeless set-up you have a lower rolling resistance and more comfort and grip. Because you can ride tubeless with a lower pressure, the tyre can change it's form more easily. This provides more grip on loose surfaces and unpaved roads.
Weight:
• 410 grams (38-622)
• 450 grams (44-622)
The weight we mention is weighed by the manufacturer and may differ from the actual weight when you weigh the tire yourself at home. This deviation is usually small and is due to the production process.

This was the last Vredestein Aventura
This is my fifth Aventura tyre; the tyre has been redesigned – there’s no longer a red, white and blue logo on the sidewall… but there have also been some changes to the tyre itself. There’s absolutely no way I can get this one onto my rim. Unfortunately, this is my last Aventura tyre.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Turn your road bike into a gravel bike
Fitting it is a bit trickier because the tyre is difficult to get onto the rim. The tyre fits on the front of a 2022 Canyon Endurace AL7; the 38mm Seta version fits on the rear. The tyre doesn’t fit on my 19mm Fulcrum rims – it doesn’t sit nicely and keeps wobbling. That’s why I’ve bought a new set of 24mm wheels, and it fits much better on those. The comfort and grip whilst riding on gravel are good at 2.5 bar (I weigh 82kg).

4 / 5
The first impression is simply good.
It offers low rolling resistance on tarmac, yet is still a genuine gravel tyre with plenty of grip.
Pros & Cons

The perfect all-rounder
Combined with the Seta on the rear wheel, this is my favourite setup for dry gravel routes. I use TPU inner tubes on both.
5 / 5
It runs smoothly and quietly, is lightweight and easy to fit.
